How do I change my course date?
Contact us with your booking reference. Date changes depend on the provider's terms shown on the listing; we will confirm what is possible and any charge before changing anything.
What happens if a course is cancelled?
If the provider cancels, you choose a full refund or a transfer to another date. We contact you as soon as we are told.
When do I receive joining instructions?
By email once your booking and any required evidence are confirmed, and again a few days before the course. They include the full venue address, times and what to bring.
What ID do I need?
Providers require photo ID and proof of address that match the details on your booking. The exact list is in your joining instructions.
How do I upload first-aid evidence?
Use the link in your booking confirmation to upload a copy of your certificate. The provider checks it meets the SIA's remaining-validity rules before your course.
When will I receive results?
The provider tells you the assessment outcome; the awarding organisation issues the certificate. Timescales are set out in the provider's results SLA on the listing.
Who issues my certificate?
The awarding organisation that approved the provider, not Licensing Solutions and not the SIA.
What happens if I fail?
The provider explains the resit options for the specific qualification. Resits and any fees are the provider's terms shown on the listing.
How do resits work?
Depends on the qualification and awarding organisation: some units can be resat separately, others require repeating a session. Ask the provider named on your booking.
How do refunds work?
Refunds follow the cancellation terms shown on the listing when you booked. Provider cancellations are refunded in full. See our refunds policy.
I booked the wrong course.
Contact us straight away. If the course has not started and the provider agrees, we can move you; charges depend on the provider's terms.
How do I contact my provider?
The provider's contact details are on your booking confirmation and joining instructions. You can also contact us and we will pass it on.
How do I apply for my SIA licence after training?
