What makes up the total
- SIA application fee: £204. Paid to the SIA, not to a training provider.
- Additional licences: £102 each from 1 June 2026 when included in the same application. Vehicle immobiliser licensing is treated differently.
- Training course fee: varies by course, provider and city. Every listing shows its price before you pay.
- First aid: a separate cost unless the listing says it is included. First aid for SIA

Why the course fee and the licence fee are separate
They are paid to different organisations for different things. The provider is paid for delivering the qualification; the SIA is paid to process a licence application and run its checks. A listing only includes an application service if it says so explicitly.
