📌 Multipliers for alcohol-led venues (Bands D & E only):

  • Band D → x2 = £900 | Annual: £640

  • Band E → x3 = £1,905 | Annual: £1,050


📢 Advertising Your Application

To meet the legal requirements, applicants must:

  • 🪧 Display a notice at the premises (blue A4 paper, font size 16+, for 28 days)

  • 📰 Publish a notice in a local newspaper within 10 working days of application


🕒 What Happens Next?

Once submitted, your application enters a 28-day consultation period.

📌 If no valid objections:
✅ Licence is automatically granted.

📌 If there are objections:
⚖️ A licensing hearing will decide the outcome:

  • Approval

  • Approval with conditions

  • Refusal

  • If you sell alcohol on your premises, you must have a Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS).
  • The DPS must hold a valid Personal Licence.
  • The DPS is named on the application and is responsible for authorising the sale of alcohol.

The DPS plays a key role in ensuring your business meets all legal requirements.
