🔄 Do You Hold a Personal Licence in Scotland?

If so, there are two legal requirements you must meet to keep your licence valid:

📆 5-Year Refresher Training

By law, all personal licence holders in Scotland must:

• Complete refresher training

• Pass the refresher exam

• Submit their certificate to the Licensing Board that issued the original licence

✅ This must be done within 5 years of the date your licence was granted.

🔁 10-Year Licence Renewal

Your personal licence is valid for 10 years. To avoid losing it, you must:

• Apply to renew your licence

• Do so no later than 3 months before the expiry date

Failing to do either can result in automatic revocation of your licence.
