A personal licence does not have an expiry date and now lasts indefinitely. 

However, it used to last for 10 years and there are plenty of people out there with personal licence’s that have expiry dates on them.

The good news is that you can ignore this expiry date and you don’t need to renew it.

That said, authorities will issue you a new one without an expiry date for a fee of £10.50.
