The cost of getting a Personal Licence in England and Wales is made up of several separate charges, including the APLH qualification and examination, the required criminal-record disclosure and the statutory licensing authority application fee.
Everyone needs the APLH course and exam. After that, you can either apply for your licence yourself, or pay for our application service and we do it for you.

How the £150 application service works: it is one payment that includes the £21.50 DBS check and the £37 licensing authority fee, plus our £91.50 fee for handling the application. So having us apply for you costs £91.50 more than doing it yourself.

The Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) is the qualification you need before applying. Our price includes the online course, practice questions, the remotely invigilated exam and your electronic certificate.
