Which Licensing Authority Do I Apply To?
Because our APLH training and examination are delivered online, you do not need to live near a classroom or test centre. You can complete your training remotely, take your online examination and then use your qualification as part of your Personal Licence application to the appropriate local licensing authority.
Personal Licence
For a Personal Licence, you apply to the licensing authority for the area where you live. This may be different from the council covering the pub, bar, restaurant, hotel or shop where you work.
Premises Licence
For a Premises Licence, the application is made to the licensing authority responsible for the location of the premises.
